Nødro is a scheduling link built with restraint. Instead of exposing a calendar as inventory, it shows guests a curated set of recommended times. Confirmed meetings land on both calendars with the right conferencing link.
Nødro was designed by subtraction: fewer controls, less copy, and typography and space doing the work. Booking time should feel calm, not transactional.
Timeline
December 2025
Founding
First commit on December 5. Within two days the brand guide set the rule for everything after it: luxury through restraint. Authentication and the first Google Calendar connection followed before the month was out.
January 2026
The booking core
Availability generation, calendar event creation, time zones, one-time-code login, transactional email through SES, an embeddable widget, and the animated sundial favicon.
March 2026
Sync and curation
A five-minute calendar sync, multiple Google accounts, and the idea that defines the product: surface a curated set of recommended times instead of a full grid. Added Microsoft verification, security headers, the sun's position on the booking page, private schedules, and public profiles.
May 2026
Meetings and integrations
Meeting pages with a join splash and cancellations, onboarding, and an admin view. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and iCloud calendars, Apple sign-in, phone verification, and the invite-code flow that keeps access curated.
August 2026
Sand
Rebuilt the booking flow in a dark register rendered as WebGL sand particles. The DOM stays the source of truth and the particles render it, with reduced-motion and no-WebGL fallbacks.
